The BGK LLEN aims to build community partnerships that are focussed on: enhancing young people’s transitions through school, ensuring their engagement to learning, expanding the education and career pathways available to them and retaining them in education, training and employment. To do this we must strategically plan and undertake regional research.

The BGK LLEN has a Strategic Plan covering the period 2010 – 2013. The Strategic Plan sets the organisation’s direction, how we are going to get there as well as evaluation indicators. The Strategic Plan was developed using a combination of regional research, Committee of Management and staff input, and feedback from stakeholders during consultation sessions.

Each year we update our Strategic Plan and Regional Scan. We review our Regional Scan and make updates to reflect new information available to us and any changes that may have occured in our external environment.  We also review our Strategic Plan annually to assess whether or not we have achieved our goals, and update it to reflect any organisational or regional environment changes.
