Background

Do you want to make a difference – have IMPACT?  If you are a young person between 15 and 20, the IMPACT Program could be just what you are looking for. IMPACT lets you pick an area you're interested in, get some work experience, and then design a project that will make a real contribution.

Learning at Sandybeach Centre is relaxed and friendly and gives you the chance to experience working in areas, such as: aged Care activity programs; childcare and Early Learning programs; cooking and hospitality; facilities management; IT support, including creation of marketing; and, programs for people with a mild disability

The program costs $75 or $50 concession, and will run on Wednesdays between February and June 2012. This program can contribute to Personal Development and Work Experience components of VCAL.  When students are currently enrolled at a secondary school a separate fee structure applies which is payable by the relevant school.
