Title: Adolescent Community Profiles (Bayside, Glen Eira and Kingston)

Description: The series of Adolescent Community Profiles draw on data on outcomes for children compiled through the Victorian Child and Adolescent Monitoring System (VCAMS). The profiles are intended to provide local level information on the health, wellbeing, learning, safety and development of adolescents. They are published to: equip communities with the information required to identify the needs of adolescents and their families within their local government area; assist local government areas to identify key areas of vulnerability for adolescents in their local area and use this information to assist with early intervention strategies; support local government and regional planning of youth services; and assist community service agencies working with vulnerable families and young people.

Title: Regional Plan – A framework for supporting growth and sustainability in Melbourne's south

Description: Regional Development Australia (RDA) Committees have been charged with developing a regional plan for their respective regions, with the plan seeking to profile regional characteristics and issues and to integrate activities such as urban planning, infrastructure, economic growth and community development. This Regional Plan has been developed by the Southern Melbourne RDA as a planning document. As such, it is a preliminary report providing an overview of the relevant data and identifying themes and emerging issues related to the southern Melbourne RDA region. It does not, at this stage, provide a full analysis of the regional landscape, nor does it detail specific strategies or actions. These will be addressed in the final Regional Plan.
